Images Of Dawn,misty And May

"Then one of the main synagogue Jairus, and he saw him, he fell at his feet, and besought him greatly, saying, My daughter is dying, come and lay hands on her to be healed and live. "
Mark 5:22 - 23

(thanks Adriana!)

Here is a man who, in his distress, Jesus comes calling for her daughter's life ...

How many of us are in trouble today for the lives of our children?

Perhaps it is a disease. We may never know the Lord, or knew him and walked away from Him may have serious behavioral problems, are trapped by the drug, crime ...

Whatever the circumstances under which they are undergoing, that afflicts us and makes us wonder where the exit is and what will become of their lives. And often, to those questions, we have no answer and ensuing fear. We come to the Lord as Jairo, in his own words ...

"... my children are dying, come and lay hands on them to be saved and live."

is when the enemy comes with thoughts of ruin and despair. Came next as those of the house of Jairus to say: "... your sons are dead, why trouble the Teacher?" (Mark 5:35)

The answer Jesus gives is the same as then gave Jairo ...

"Be not afraid, only believe."

much stronger words! What a relief brings knowledge He is with us in adversity, suffering, loneliness!

probably struggle we face is so long that we feel we have no more strength. That, contrary to what one might think, is good, because then, inevitably, we must stop relying on our strength to trust only in Him, that tells us

"Fear not, for I am with ; not dismayed for I am your God I will strengthen you, yea, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. " Isaiah 41:10

Trust. Trust even when things seem to us rather than improve, worsen. Even when we have the impression that time passes and nothing changes. Trust even though doubts, anguish and the devastating feeling that God has forgotten about it. At that time, more than ever, we need to take your eyes off the circumstances and put in him probably our children have to go through circumstances that we would like to spare, but we trust that God knows better than us how draw them to Him

"... my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord." Isaiah 55:8

"What I do, you do not understand now, but you will understand later. "John 13:7

Meanwhile, we have something to do: stand up like a mighty army in prayer for the lives of our children.

In Judges 5:6-7 describes the situation in Israel at that time :

"... Were abandoned roads, and walking the trails have turned crooked. The villages were abandoned in Israel, had fallen, until I, Deborah, got up, I got a mother in Israel ".

I think that today the Lord is telling us the same as in Judges 5:12: " Awake, awake, Deborah! "

He is saying: Wake up, wake up! Your children have turned crooked, have faded. It's time to get up a mother in their midst.

And he is going to work.

"Thus saith the Lord ...
... I will defend your case and will save thy children." Isaiah 49:25 He

take your hand, as did the daughter of Jairus, and call each one by name: "..., I say unto thee, arise
They

Our children will respond to your voice, and will rise up and walk in his ways, and serve him and honor him with their lives. And along with them their children, and children's children, and children of their children's children ... and so on from generation to generation until the Lord comes.

hope in your word, Lord, in the word you gave us. We decided to wait and hope that it will be just as you said. Will trust, even though what we now see our natural eyes, the circumstances through which they pass their lives, their attitudes, their struggles, their sorrows, their pains, their doubts, their swings, their sins, your bad choices, its bad decisions, their mistakes ...
They are already out of reach of our hands, but they are not our prayers, much less of your hand.
