Open Letter to French citizenship and international
an affront to reason
the undersigned, strongly reject the decision of the Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Metz (ENIM), which has a guest professor Alvaro Uribe Velez, president of Colombia between 2002 and 2010 and has delivered a doctorate honoris causa engineer, lending his character as legitimate a political question and as close to the harshest crime in Colombia [1] [2].
The granting of academic honors former President Uribe is due to an exchange of favors between the policies of the educational establishment and the Colombian authorities during the Uribe government favored the charter school and various advantages [3]. The procedure glitch, throws a lot of suspicion about the way forward today is the international cooperation programs and dishonor the French educational system.
But beyond the fact that this honor has been obtained as academic a surrender of favors, it is unacceptable that an invitation to occupy the chair at the infamous star of a policy imposed in Colombia in blood and fire during his 8 years in office. [4]
